Consumer Directed Services
- Personal Care & Grooming — A Better Option LLC offers personal care and grooming services that can include dressing the client and assisting with any personal grooming needs that they have. We can style their hair, bathe them and perform any other daily necessities that your loved one may not be capable of doing on their own.
- Transportation Arrangements — If you or a loved one needs to go on an errand, a doctor's appointment, or any other destination, rely on us to get you there. We have a van that will get you from Point A to Point B safely and efficiently.
- Meal Preparation & Dietary Needs — We are happy to assist in cooking and preparing meals for our clients. After doing so, we make sure that the preparation area has been cleaned and ready for the next meal. We also pay attention to the specific dietary needs each of our clients and prepare meals accordingly, while also going to the grocery store for our clients.
- Assistance with Self Administering of Medication — We make sure to pay attention to the different medications that our clients are given to take. We see to it that our clients take all medications, as scheduled throughout the day.
- Basic Housekeeping Chores — We work hard to keep up with the different housekeeping chores that are needed. We are happy to help with laundry, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, making beds, and any other basic household chores our clients require.
- Mobility Transfers — We would be happy to assist our clients in getting in and out of bed, to and from the table and on and off their seats. We are happy to help with mobility tasks.
- Correspondence — At A Better Option LLC, our employees are happy to help our clients keep up with different avenues of correspondence. We can collect our client's mail from their box and even read the mail to them if they have difficulty doing so. We can also help deliver messages to our clients, or to another recipient, or help make phone calls for our clients.
